Kevin McMahon is listed in the Law Society of Scotland Expert Witness Directory.
Kevin provides an expert witness service generally in relation to road defects and roads authorities compliance with the well-managed Highway Infrastructure A Code of Practice. This can include issues such as potholes, raised paving, defective street furniture and winter maintenance issues.
In addition to this, he has also provided reports and evidence in cases involving failure to comply with the Code of Practice for Safety at Street Works and Road Works.
While most work involves public roads, where the relevant legislation is the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984, Kevin has also provided expert witness reports and evidence in relation to incidents on private property or other public areas that are covered by The Occupiers’ Liability (Scotland) Act 1960.
